After a late wakeup and a slow morning, we got some essentials done. i.e. supermarket shopping, clothes washing etc... We just relaxed and enjoyed our comfortable unit for a bit, before showering and driving to
The Pump House Restaurant for a delicious dinner.

I was really happy when I got to see my Uncle Andre, who I haven't seen in about a year and I also got to meet my Aunty Nadine who I was very happy to see. When Cole and Robin arrived I was super excited to see them and they were even more excited to see us. I talked with them for a while and then it was dinner time. At dinner I made a friend called Grace and she is a few years younger than me and I will be a flower girl/ junior bridesmaid with her.
For dinner I had the Chicken Denali which was amazing. Before dinner we got entrees of salad and so I was full when it came to dinner time, but of course I still ate my meal. Then we had a little break and then the cake was cut. The cake was amazing, it was literally just vanilla sponge cake with vanilla icing!
No more pasta sauce, woo hoo. Was that the best meal you have had this trip? Cole looked very excited to see you. Why was there a cake? Had the wedding been already?

DeleteNo more pasta sauce - phew! Until last night, it was the best meal of the trip. Both Cole and Robin were stoked that we had arrived. I don't think that they quite believed it.
DeleteThe dinner was just to celebrate everyone coming together. Robin had cousins that had arrived from New York, and Florida. Cole had grandparents and cousins arriving from England and NZ, and the priest was a family friend who had flown in from China - where he works.
The cake was dessert.
