On Saturday 21st July My Dad (David) and me (Eliza) went on a plane to Honolulu, Hawaii. I was so excited to leave but saying bye to my mum and brothers was really hard to do. We checked our luggage in and then waited until it was time to board the plane. The plane ride was a boring, exciting and long 8 hours. While I was on the plane I didn't feel that good, but I am fine now.
Once we had our bags and had gone through security then we had to wait for a shuttle to take us the the rental car shop. While we waited for some shuttles to arrived we accidentally missed a shuttle and them didn't know what shuttle to take so we missed another shuttle but in the end we made it to the rental car place and we got our car.
It took us a little while to decide, but then we settled on a lovely silver version - and started working out how to operate the beast! The acceleration of the car is amazing, and dad is enjoying left-hand drive again. I did a great job of navigating for dad, and we found our accommodation pretty quickly.
After settling in, we took a walk down to Waikiki beach to grab some food and check out why it is so famous. We each had an enormous shaved ice. I had a pineapple one and dad had a rainbow one.

That's so cool 😎. I wish I could be there sharing all the memories you are sharing together, hope you have a whole lot of fun and try to make it the best time you can. Don't worry about me i'm having a lot of fun at home and try to keep sending me pictures of the wonderful experiences you are having.
